While I really like the design of this pointer (small & compact) there are too many techinical performance issues with it. A) the laser pointer itself is extremely week - in a dark room on a white presentation you can very barely see the laser. B) It does not have a 50' distance as suggested, not even 15' so you need to stand close to the receiver. C) the forward and back buttons on the device are opposite then what one would intuitively want back and forward. (I teach design so I'm VERY frustrated with companies just throwing out use interfaces that just don't work) I would not get this for yourself. You may however want to give it to a co-worker to annoy them.
