The Brain Drain
What happened to employee loyalty? You know the kind of people who work for a company at a young age and so it was throughout his career. I am sorry to report that those days are gone. The mantra has been to stay with one company for three years and then go. In reality you are not currently amended several times in your career, is seen as a disadvantage to your career.
A major problem in Corporate America today is thatI call brain drain. This is a simple as it seems – these people are exploited outside. Your brain is empty. It 's incredibly obvious when you look at the number of women leaving corporate America started their activities. Because these talented women feel disenfranchised? The answer is complicated and a result of the employer does not understand the real issues at hand.
Women working in the world have learned to work hard, be good at your job and youprogresses. (Yes, my mother told me that is). The problem is that teaching is not true. The hard work is just that: hard work. Without a game plan in mind, it is difficult to continue, even with good results.
Companies have guidelines for women to understand that in Corporate America. On the one hand, says companies that want women on top. On the other hand, their potential and hamper their ability to climb the corporate training. What can companies dothis dilemma can be resolved? They can solve even mark the progress of the employee – from top to bottom.
We have all heard of the diversity and EEOC mandates, but as is done in the real world of work. It does not. The leaders of these companies should speak and not sprayed the rhetoric PC. I saw probably reams of facts, but when it comes to implementing a different story.
Take a look at top management. Asmany women are on it? Who? What are the plans to improve the odds? Not strike you as odd that women constitute more than 50% of workers have only X% at high levels? message of diversity is not just practiced.
When a manager PC discharges rhetoric are really saying "can demonstrate that we have a plan." As they say, is how and when they intend to implement it. The truth is that you reach the heart of the real problems. Most womendo not want alms, or a character position. They want their hard work and dedication to count for something other than a salary. Yes, money is important but not the spirit of the real problems that businesses do not understand.
Many personal questions are different for women than for men: maternity leave, flex time, telecommuting, and time off to care for elderly parents or sick children. Company policy contains many of these problems. The exercise of any of these extras is not likely to bedetrimental to the career of a person. The reality of the message can be different. "Yes, you will have a job when you return from maternity leave, but do not expect promotion."
Over the years I have been told by executives, women at the top because they need special treatment (as above). The truth is that the brightest and most talented resources requires special treatment. What is needed is a thorough understanding of these issues and why it mattersin modern society. Women do more of these responsibilities than their male colleagues do, and it is for them to find a way to make it work.
That does not mean "everything". This means that companies understand the importance of these issues, the working woman. The fact that women of the benefits of hard work and a job well done. Managers need to understand what women go through labor. (This is not about money.)
We spend most of our dayswork and it is important to enjoy what we do and feel satisfied with our work commitments. family needs and concerns are only part of the equation. Until companies realize that women continue to leave corporate America to vote en masse for the opportunities that enable them to enjoy what they do and feel comfortable.
